| I CONFESS every time before TAKING COMMUNION. The CONFESSION is the SACRAMENT OF REPENTANCE. We have to confess to BE RELEASED FROM OUR SINS. Every PENITENT should kiss the HAND CROSS and GOSPEL and ASK FOR THE PRIEST'S BLESSING after the confession.

| MARRIAGE is one of the most beautiful SACRAMENTS of the Church. Through the sacrament of the marriage two persons BECOME ONE FLESH. There are several things on the MARRIAGE TABLE: the GOSPEL, the PRIEST'S HAND CROSS, rings, MARRIAGE CROWNS, common cup of wine and the WEDDING CANDLE.

Christian RECONCILIATION is the work of God through Christ by which He restores mankind to a favorable relationship with Himself.
In the Old Testament, WHEAT was seen as a sign of prosperity and blessing.

It seems to me that many people strive for PHYSICAL HEALING, but do not think about SPIRITUAL HEALING.

| The clergy of the Orthodox Church have the gift of APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION.
The priest and the bishop should take care of their PARISH, just as Jesus Christ, being THE GOOD SHEPHERD, takes care of His flock.
The CUFFS also symbolize that the sacraments performed by the priest are performed by the Lord himself. The priest is God's GO-BETWEEN.
