There are beautiful ICON SCREENS in the ORTHODOX CHURCHES.

| I love the smell of INCENCE incense from my childhod, childhood when I visited CHURCH with my mother. The ringing of CENSERS alongside with FRAGRANCE of incence incense created such mysterious and REVERENT atmospere. atmosphere In such moments, the church truly feels like Heavens.

One of main parts of the NEW TESTAMENT is the EXECUTION of Christ. It's not just execution, it's His SACRIFICE for all humanity. He was sacrificed on the THREE-BAR CROSS, which now is a symbol of ORTHODOX CHRISTIANITY.

All of us can feel the smell of FRAGRANCE during each Liturgy. You also can feel it at VESPERS, when the DEACON CENSES some kind of CHARCOAL is used. As I know, it is a symbol of the Holy Spirit.
