| MARCIONISM is a heresy because it contradicts the Christian ideas of the Holy Trinity and Jesus Christ's person. For example, marcionists REJECT OLD TESTAMENT "GOD" IN FAVOR OF NEW TESTAMENT "GOD", that is, oppose two PERSONS of God. It is wrong, at least, because ALL THREE PERSONS ARE ABSOLUTELY EQUAL and GOD IS ONE IN ESSENCE. Marcionists also consider, that Christ was not born as a human, that is, was not embodied. It is not true, because Jesus Christ has TWO NATURES: He is FULLY DIVINE and OF ONE ESSENCE WITH THE FATHER, and He is FULLY HUMAN and ONE ESSENCE WITH MANKIND. He TRULY WAS BORN, LIVED, DIED and BODILY ROSE FROM THE DEAD.

| APOCATASTASIS is a heresy, but I can understand people who want to follow this teaching because the idea of the salvation of all people seems very comforting. In our class we mentioned that even some people in Orthodoxy, for example, metropolitan Kallistos Ware, believe in apocatastasis, but it doesn't mean we can blame him for FALLING INTO HERESY because he doesn't spread it wildly. The person who LAPSED INTO HERESY usually not only follows the wrong teaching but also preaches it. Acting as a CHAMPION of heresy is SERIOUS SIN.

And it is a really difficult point, because monarchy usually assumes a CLOSE ALLIANCE BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE, but for some religious and government figures there is a question of primacy of one of these institutions. The conflict appears when church and state start to compete for their rights, that's why it is important to make a distinction between THE THINGS OF CAESAR AND THE THINGS OF GOD, because it helps to understand that the rights of church and state are equal but these institutions are responsible for different things: for the material and the spiritual – but they must help each other to maintain well-being in the country.

| On the surface level, APOCATASTASIS makes perfect sense, which is why it is of the highest importance to always check if a belief or movement is in line with the Holy Tradition.
Governing the earthly organisation of the Church is a daunting task primarily because of many possible RECALCITRANT movements that might lead to the autonomy of local churches, which would be HERETICAL.
God offers PLENTEOUS REDEMPTION in His infinite mercy.
We are entering the season when we are going to remember THE ADORATION OF THE MAGI.
God is merciful and abundant and gives THE DEW OF HEAVEN AND THE FATNESS OF THE EARTH AND PLENTY OF CORN to those who WAIT ON him.
The churches of Armenians who are MONOPHYSITES in the architectural sense are very different from the way Orthodox churches are built.
