- number in brown: grades the student has received for this particular post.

| I have many friends who aspire and work very hard TO BE ORDAINED PRIESTS and HAVE PASTORAL CHARGE OF THE LOCAL PARISH.
Patriarchy which everyone in the West seems to be fighting against nowadays might share a root with the word PATRIARCHATE, however the second word is more dear to us.
I cannot wait to read Orthodox SERVICE BOOKS and the Philokalia in English - for a reason unbeknownst to me, I am able to understand what I am reading better and deeper when the text is in a foreign language.
Every time I ATTEND A SERVICE at the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Yasenevo I cannot help but admire it and have an even stronger desire TO PRAY WITH ICONS afterwards.

| My name is Boris and I was born in the Krasnodarskiy kray, but studied for eight years at the YANAO. There I went with my ORTHODOX family to SUNDAY SERVICES in the small CHURCH of ELIGAIH THE PROPHET. The PRIEST did not come to us often - about once every six weeks, so the residents of our small village were very happy to gather on their own and hold small SERVICES, and when the PRIEST did come, we all TOOK COMMUNION.

| My name is Svetlana, I live in Moscow. I am a parishioner of the ORTHODOX CHURCH. I visit SUNDAY SERVICES, take part in the SACRAMENTS OF the CHURCH, CONFESS and take COMMUNION. A lot of my friends take part in WORSHIP as church choir singers. I like ORTODOX FEASTINGS (for example, Easter or Christmas) because the WORSHIP these days is really beautiful.

2. By LIGHTING CANDLES we lift our minds up into prayer.
3. There is no doubt that the FOCAL POINT of any PARISH is the church.
4. Hopefully, we all are on the journey towards the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

| Whenever I'm entering church, I'm always trying to pray FERVENTLY, with REVERENCE. Sometimes, it may be hard, to find strength and peace in my soul to be able to talk with God properly, but I do my best. When I'm praying at home, I pray in the ICON CORNER, because icons serve as a MEDIUM OF PRAYERS.

| 1. The icons are to be treated WITH REVERENCE as they are VENERATED not worshipped.
2. Once a priest told my mother that the ICON CORNER should never be placed in the corner of a room.
3. Every day I want to say prayers that are FERVENT and pure. I have it on my "who I hope to be" list.
4. I'd like to ask ICONOGRAPHERS from Saint Tikhon's Orthodox University FOR THE Humanities what icons are typically INSCRIBED with the iconographer's name.
5. I've heard that the INVISIBLE DIMENSION can be revealed, at least partly, by the Grace of God to those who are chaste and pure at heart, fearful and who can be called faithful servants to the Almighty God.
