| 1. The principles of FRANCISCANS, one of the west MONASTIC ORDERS, are close to the principles of the NON-POSSESERS
in Russian monasticism. The Non-Possessors, as Franciscans, were VOWED TO
COMPLETE POVERTY and could not be landowners.
