| 1. Every summer and winter professors and students from our university do missionary journeys to the Russian north.
2. Service books are of great help especially on days of Twelve Great Feasts, when services are slightly different from usual ones.
3. Knowledge of Church Slavonic is not essential, but nevertheless very useful for a Christian, since it is our liturgical language.
4. The first part of the Cherubic Hymn is solemnly sung before the Great Entrance; and the second part is sung after the Great Entrance, being more cheerful in its tone.

| 1. It is not necessary to withdraw into the forests to escape the worldly bustle - your place of retreat may be your church or even your own room, that is, any place where you can be in silence and pray to God.
2. Saint Seraphim of Sarov lived in the wilderness near his monastery and came there only on Sundays to receive Communion.
3. It will never hurt one to secure the blessing from his spiritual father before the beginning of some risky enterprise.
4. After the Great Entry, the Holy Doors are closed and the veil is drawn; it symbolises silence of Holy Saturday before the Resurrection.
5. When partaking of Communion, one should keep himself focused and remember of his unworthiness as well of God's grace; so, he must come to the holy chalice both with fear and hope.

| Our church doesn't have the icon screen and THE HOLY DOORS, so everyone can see everything happening in THE SANCTUARY. Another interesting feature is that THE CLERGY there lets every Christian to PARTAKE OF COMMUNION, so the whole church is allowed to THE HOLY CHALICE. The priest here believes that no matter whether one is preparing hard for it or not, they still deserve to be A COMMUNICANT for their TRANSGRESSIONS, VOLUNTARY AND INVOLUNTARY, to be absolved.
