| Inheritance of all believers depends on themselves. If people can forsake their sinful lifes and follow Christ, they'll be enlightened and will be saved. From the Beatitudes we know that the meek are blessed, and they will inherit the earth. Meek people understand that all tribulations are sent for salvation. They try to live with God.

As we know, we magnify not only the Lord, but also the Theotokos and other revered saints. Every Christian believes the praying prayer can help them. Unfortunately, the period when patriarchs were under the Turks was not successful. Corruption and simony prospered with impunity. Then, Turks decided to sell the Patriarchal throne, and unstable period began for the church. Patriarchs were suffering violent death, when then the others abdicated. Sometimes, men held office many times, depends depending on how much money do they have they had.
