| 1. In Russia, lay theologians have no less authority than the ordained ones.
2. Currently in our country there exists a sharp division between clergy and laity because lay Christians usually do not study doctrinal and theological matters, unlike clergymen who realise the necessity of it.
3. Different doctrinal approaches should not be the reason of the dissension within the Christian community; as long as the Church is collegial, we should strive for the mutual understanding.
4. The treasury of the Orthodox precious heritage keeps being replenished by the works of the latter-day saints.
5. Attempting to bring uniformity into the Church for all peoples is pointless. Far more reasonable is to unite nations in Christ without depriving them of their identity.

| 1. In my opinion, it's better not to translate Church services into Modern Russian for the sake of the fidelity to the Liturgical tradition.
2. A Christian ought to lay his faith as a foundation of his entire life.
3. Even though the Orthodox could turn a blind eye to the minor differences with Catholics, we cannot and must not put up with their proclamations of what is theologically untrue.
4. If there is a need for the priestly celibacy, then it's only in a sense that the priest may get married just once in his lifetime; The Apostle Paul never condemns the priest's marriage itself, but says that he must be "the husband of one wife".
5. We all owe a debt of gratitude to those who preached Orthodoxy in the 20th century, making the Orthodox Church truly universal.
