| 1. A mitre is a kind of headgear worn by the Bishop which appeared and became known in 12th century.
2. The staff might refer to a part of Bishop's vestments, but it can also be a kind of a simple walking stick.
3. The phrase "to shephered one's flock" in relation to God stems from the Gospel where the Son is compared to The Good Shepherd.
4. The sword of the Spirit signifies the strength of God against all evil.
5. Monasticims seems like a great undertaking to me, but at the same time I know that a lot of people find peace in the solemn monastic life.

| 1. Monasticism is a difficult path for a Christian that not everyone chooses
2. I saw monastic life when I came to help at the monastery for a couple of days.
3. Our sword of the Holy Spirit is prayer.
4. Every bishop shepherd his flock therefore he has a lot of responsibilities.
5. I've always liked the way mitres look, probably because of the light, beautiful brocade.
