| Christian perfection consists of holiness—that is, freedom of the soul from enslavement to sin. It stands to reason that all people without exception, not only priests or monastics, are called to this perfection or holiness that consists of freedom from sin.

| Sin makes a person's soul dirty, makes people weak. Sin can masterfully hide until it finds a way to harm our soul. We should not let it push us around and trade what awaits us in the Kingdom of Heaven for a short moment of imaginary happiness. It is always worth remaining a faithful Christian, living with dignity, maintaining your virtues, striving for holiness. The great love of God helps us cope with evil and sinfulness, He is the One who makes us worthy.

| God invites us all to be a part of His Kingdom. In order to be part of it it stands to reason that people ought to be worthy. To be worthy it’s necessary to be holy and perfect, and to be free of sin, as the Kingdom of our God is only open to those with a pure heart and intention.
I’m convinced that God asks us all to be saints, not only priests and monks. We all take part in the Holy Communion and try to be worthy. We all, since we are Orthodox, are trying to be holy and perfect, as it’s part of our faith.
