In spite of the fact that you are weak and imperfect, you are truly guilty for all the wrong things you do. Since you possess a will, all that comes forth from you is subject to that will. So in this sense, everything good counts in your favor and everything bad counts against you.

In spite of the fact that you are weak  and imperfect, you are truly guilty for all the wrong things you do . Since you posses a will, all that comes forth  form you is subject to that will . So in this sense, everythimg good counts in your favor and everything bad counts against you.  This is the quote of the father Jack Sparks. Personally I totaly agree with it. I'll try  to express my view on this issue.
God gave to the person absolute freedom. It means that people can choose what to do in different situations. We all can choose should we act badly or well.   We should overcome all the temptations around us although the number of them is huge.  Bible gives us a perfect example of Noah who was perfect among the others. He walked with God. Bible shows us that we can be different when the others are sinners. As it is written in the Bible: " If thou doest well, shalt thou not be eccepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him" (KJV, Genesis: 4:7).
Of course, in the hustle and bustle of life, in sorrow and misfortune we forget about it, but we shall pray to the Lord for his mercy and for Him to help us keep our memory of it.

Of course, we can’t deny that all people have free will and thus should be responsible for all their actions. It is their desire, their choice and their accountability in the end.

But at the same time, it is vital to remember that our human nature is fallen. That’s why sometimes, even when we tend to act according to Christian values, we fall short. Something disturbs, irritates us and we forget about our good intentions choosing the opposite way. Apostle Paul also noticed this propensity of ours: “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me” (Rom.7:19-20). It means that without God’s grace people are not able to conquer the iniquity that dwells in them.

Therefore, I agree with Fr. Jack Sparks, but only partly. We should remember that without the Lord’s succour we won’t subdue our passions.

I agree with the meaning of the quote. Even if you have sinned because of weakness, you should repent and admit your own guilt. You shouldn't blame others, like Adam and Eve have done after the fall.

However, I didn't like the quote’s wording. I don’t like when a priest (not only Fr. Sparks, any priest) says “you are guilty” as if he were sinless. It would be more correct to say “we are guilty”.
