How do you think of your mother, your father, or some dear person? What does a betrothed girl do? She is captivated by thinking of her betrothed all day long. She sits and knits and remembers him. So, should we not remember Christ, our betrothed?

That's a good question. I think it is really important to speak with God. I suppose Garondissa Markina is right. We should speak to God as we speak to our parents because God is our Father, so we need to sustain this relationship. In our real family at first, children are strongly connected to their parents but after sometime they grow up, leave home and call their parents really seldom. There are people who do not call their parents at all. The same situation is with God. We are the people who love in the world. We are the God's children. We are the family. We have to support our relationship with God by speaking to Him and praying.
We also should remember that God can give us everything. Even the things our parents can not give us. Besides, not only we need prayers, but God needs our prayers too. He wants to speak with us.
