| Describe your favourite dish, what is in it, how it is prepared, what flavours it has, etc. I want to describe one of my favourite dishes, which I make very often because it's MOREISH and does not require a lot of time or efforts. It's spaghetti with chicken, tomatoes and cheese. First step is to prepare tomatoes and chicken. You'll need to slice the tomatoes, put them in the frying pan, season them well so they won't be bland but savoury instead, then just let them simmer for some minutes. While tomatoes are simmering, you'll need to slice the chicken, season it as well, but just not too much (we don't want the final dish to be too SALTY). I don't like SPICY food so I don't add pepper. Then you put chicken in the pan and prepare the spaghetti (just boil them until they're done). When the chicken is ready, add as much grated cheese as you want and let it melt, then mix well. And that's it! Now just add some of this to spaghetti and enjoy!
How often do you eat junk food or processed food? Why? Do you have a balanced diet? In what ways? Unfortunately, I do not have a balanced diet at all. Due to tight schedule it's hard to even track the food i consume, let alone healthy and nutritious meals. So yes, I eat a lot of junk food and i'm not very proud of that.

One of my favourite breakfast dishes is the French omelette. It is very easy to prepare. What I like most is that I can add different FILLINGS. I usually use herbs, sausage, and cheese. To prepare it, you need 2-3 eggs and a bit of cream. You MIX THEM UP in a bowl and preheat a frying pan with some butter. Then, pour the mixture into the pan and start to move it so the omelette cooks evenly. Then, add some cheese or mozzarella, sausage, or mushrooms on one side of the omelette and cover them with the other side. It's a NOURISHING meal.

I eat JUNK FOOD and PROCESSED FOOD very rarely. I prefer to cook at home because I enjoy the process of cooking, and I can control the amount of sugar, salt, and spices in my meals. I don't like too SPICY and SALTY food. I try to keep a BALANCED DIET. I eat cereals, a sufficient amount of meat, fruits, vegetables, home-preserved foods, and I drink enough water. I have A SWEET TOOTH, so I don't avoid tasty treats. Fast food is a good variant if you travel somewhere far by car.

My favourite dish at the moment is a creamy zucchini soup that I have recently started making myself. I started cooking it because we have too many zucchini this year. The soup is a savoury puree made primarily from fresh zucchini, potatoes, carrot and onions. The preparation is quite simple: I boil potatoes with zucchini until they are soft but not overcooked, then I add fried carrot with onion and let it simmer. Once the vegetables are tender, I blend everything until it's smooth. The flavours are mild and comforting, not bland at all because I add herbs like thyme. I find the taste absolutely delicious and very moreish; 1 always want seconds. I always serve it with homemade croutons, which add a nice contrasting texture. It's a wonderfully light meal, perfect for any season.

I’m not completely sure whether the food I usually eat can be called junk food, but I definitely wouldn’t say that my diet is balanced. Since I live in a dormitory, I don’t have much time or opportunity to cook proper meals. Most of the time, I eat instant noodles, or I cook some rice and have it with a sausage, cheese sauce, and a handful of vegetables.
On weekends, I often eat frozen food such as turkey nuggets or chebupeli. I also have a sweet tooth, so my diet includes candies, popcorn, cookies, and ice cream. Sometimes, when I feel really hungry late in the evening and have no more instant noodles left, I eat milk with dry cereal — those light wheat balls you pour into milk. My favourite flavours are honey and caramel.
Although my diet isn’t the healthiest, it’s simple, quick, and affordable. Still, I hope to start eating more balanced meals in the future, with more fresh fruits and vegetables.

| Describe your experience at a restaurant you have recently been to. Last week, I went to a new Italian restaurant. I had to book a table because it's very popular. I ordered from the set menu. For my starter, I had a savoury garlic bread. The main course was pasta. It was absolutely tasty and not bland at all! For dessert, I chose a chocolate cake. It was a bit sugary, but moreish. The restaurant also catered for vegetarians. I will definitely go there again!

| The topic of food is a pressing one. Eating is something all humans simply have to do three times per day every day, which makes it sensible to find a way to enjoy food and cooking.
I'd call myself one of the most boring eaters because I naturally enjoy BLAND foods; I don't mind TASTELESSNESS in my food at all. Yet because I have to eat three times a day, I've taken it upon myself to find new ways of preparing food and thinking about food to make my days more colourful and my lifestyle healthier.
Having a BALANCED DIET is something that's being advertised to us. Funnily enough, the protein shakes or meal replacements made by fitness-promoting companies are the farthest things from the meals people actually need. Most dietitians agree that food should be ORGANIC, come from the earth and be prepared with love. Because of that, I'm one to never MAKE A RESERVATION at a restaurant. I see places of public eating as businesses first and foremost and not magical kitchens that are primarily concerned about our personal health. What I'm saying is all the additives and culinary tricks that cooks use in attempts to make food MOREISH, in truth create STODGY meals that are equivalent to JUNK FOOD or ULTRA-PROSESSED food.
My best attempt at creating a lush meal was today actually. The recipe is so good it can pass as a soup dish, a sauce or a dip, depending on what you're in the mood for. The key is to take the vegetables that are IN SEASON at the moment and UNDERCOOK them on the stove in hot boiling water for not more than 15 minutes. Then blend them with cottage cheese until smooth. It's an easy way to incorporate more protein and fibre sources into your diet; the vegetables do all the work for you. They are SAVOURY without tasting BITTER.

My favorite dish is potato pancakes, or "draniki". They are made from grated potatoes, a little flour, an egg, and salt, sometimes a small onion is grated into the mix too. All the ingredients are combined in a bowl to form a thick batter. The batter is then fried in a pan with oil. You take a spoonful and put it in the hot oil, flattening it a bit. They are fried until golden brown and crispy on both sides.( it can take a few minutes per side). They are often served with sour cream. For me this dish is very cosy, if you know what I mean, “draniki” remind me of Belarus and my grandmother.

My favorite dessert is the "Ice Cream - Whatever You Have Handily". To make it you simply need to take any ice cream you like and add whatever you want. For example, fruits, peanut butter or Nutella, marshmallows, cookies, Oreos, dried fruits, sour candies, marmalade, M&Ms, chocolate or chocolate drops, caramel, whipped cream, salted pretzels, pieces of biscuit and so on. My favorite thing is that any time the result is different, but still TASTY! You can make the taste more MILD or more SUGARY, You can express your creativity to the full! Sometimes we used to cook something crazy with my brother. If you are on a BALANCED DIET, you can take, for example, fruit or berry sherbet or fruit ice and make this dish LIGHT. If you do have a kitchen garden, it's your luck, you can make an ORGANIC version of this ice cream! Once my godbrother Arseniy mixed gelato with crushed pancakes and donuts. This dessert was very HEAVY and STODGY! I believe, nobody wanted SECONDS that time.

I would say, it is similar to cottage cheese casserole, but it is rather simpler. Once my grandma just cooked it and I liked it so much. There is absolutely nothing special about it, but it is so simple and so quick to cook that I like it just for that. I think, it is the quickest dish I know. At the same time, it is tasty. Atleast, for me. Some people may say it is bland and tasteless, but for me, it is mild and quite pleasant. As I said, it is very easy to cook: you need only cottage cheese and just one egg. Put the cottage cheese in a bowl, add an egg, mix, and put it in the microwave for ~2 minutes. And that’s it. You have the easiest breakfast to cook. If you want, you can add salt and sugar. Usually, I add no more than two teaspoons of sugar not to make it sickly, but you can add more. Or you can make it saltier, but I’ve never done it in this way. Maybe, there is an experimenter who would like to add some herbs or make it spicy – well, it takes all sorts. So, it’s up to you: you can add everything. I think, it is the best dish when you don’t have time to cook or just want something light.

My favourite dish is sushi. It is made with rice, fish, seaweed, and sometimes vegetables, and it is very TASTY and MOREISH. I like that it can be SALTY or even a little SPICY, and it always feels fresh. You know, I really hate it when food HAS GONE OFF. When I eat sushi with friends, we usually say “HELP YOURSELF” and try different SPECIALS. Sushi is not something VEGANS would choose.

I eat JUNK FOOD about two times a week, usually at McDonald’s, because it’s quick and easy, especially after exhausting day. I also eat PROCESSED FOOD sometimes for the same reason. I don’t really have a balanced diet — I mostly eat whatever I want while my health lets me, even though I know it’s probably not the best habit.
