| Under what circumstances (if at all) would you consider it acceptable for someone to not keep their promise? Has it ever happened to you? – What was your New Year’s resolution at the beginning of this year? Have you managed to fulfill it? What would your resolution be for the next year? – What is your opinion on using swear words in cinema or literature? – What do you think of gambling (as in playing in a casino)? Have you ever gambled before? – Think of a situation when you accomplished something despite the odds being stacked against you.

| Quite often can one face people break their promise. The key point here is that sometimes we may not even notice that. Obviously, if I ignore one breaking their word, that can only mean the promise isn’t that important. On the other hand, broken promise may cause a broken heart.
Truth be told, I’ve been thinking about that recently. There are no circumstances which would be acceptable to renege on a promise. However, who are we to blame others? I suggest each can find a hundred cases for doing that. For instance, you promised to help, but now you have an awful headache and aren’t ready to do whatever. Is it an acceptable reason? It depends... and here we go again, it always "depends".
Sometimes I feel no one is worth believing. A promise may not be kept as they changed their mind. This happens sometimes and that continuous flow of emotions and thoughts which can make us rethink nearly everything is what makes us people.
